Hi I have a problem with the mainstay yarn that from Walmart on my addi express knitting machine I advise people not to use it because it is dropping stitches left and right. Any suggestions of other yarn besides what you have suggested already. I don't understand why everyone making a blanket with these machines are showing it in tubes and tube sewing. These machines, can, flat knit too? Do you want 2 layered thicker blankets? Is that the reason?

Is this tool not available in the UK ? To order from USA, the total cost inc postage would be £22.00 ! V expensive for a plastic tool. If anyone knows where it is sold in the UK I would really appreciate it if you could post here and let me know. Thankyou in advance. Happy knitting ! X

You cast on too tight. You have to leave your cast on row very loose. especially with cotton. The machines don't like cotton because it doesn't stretch.

Hi! I have been trying to figure out how to tweak the measurements for an older baby/toddler, such as 12-18m and 18-24m. Do you have any advice on how many rows and pins? I have tried twice now and failed - after successfully making one for a newborn with your measurements :)

I've been watching your videos about the braided baby blankets.... Do you know how well that closure holds up in the washer and dryer?

I find you have to use very slippery yarn work the best. And will not work with a four weight.
